She Bleeds with Pride is an Araba Foundation initiative dedicated to breaking menstrual barriers and empowering girls to manage their periods with dignity and confidence. Menstruation should never be a reason for a girl to miss school or feel ashamed. Through this campaign, we provide menstrual health education, free sanitary products, and community sensitization programs to challenge stigma, promote open dialogue, and ensure that every girl can stay in school all month long. Since 2023, the initiative has donated over 300 sanitary pads and delivered menstrual health education to more than 800 girls in rural Ghana. By normalizing conversations about menstruation and equipping girls with the knowledge and resources they need, She Bleeds with Pride is helping to build a generation of confident, healthy, and empowered young women.
